Manuka Honey and Lemon Drink

This drink is a great way to start your day or as a soothing beverage in the evening. The combination of Manuka honey and lemon provides a boost of vitamin C, antioxidants, and anti-inflammatory benefits.

🍯 INGREDIENTS:

-2 tablespoons of Gather By Manuka honey
-Juice of 1/2 a fresh lemon
-1 cup of cold or room temperature water (avoid hot water to preserve the beneficial properties of Manuka honey)
-A few mint leaves (optional)
-A pinch of cinnamon or turmeric (optional, for additional health benefits)

 

🍯 INSTRUCTIONS:

-Mix the Lemon Juice: Squeeze the juice of half a lemon into a glass.
-Add Manuka Honey: Add 1 tablespoons of Manuka honey to the lemon juice.
-Stir Thoroughly: Stir the mixture until the honey is fully dissolved. It's important to use only warm or cold temperature water below 45C, to ensure that the natural enzymes in the Manuka honey are not destroyed by heat.

Add Optional Ingredients: If desired, add a few mint leaves for a refreshing flavour or a pinch of cinnamon or turmeric for additional health benefits.

Serve Immediately: Enjoy the drink immediately for the best taste and health benefits.
